question for confused

Postby applepie » Wed Oct 26, 2005 12:48 am

i have an approval for observership from a hospital and at the same time, a specialist has admitted that i can work with him as a volunteer in his private clinic. my question is, which one should i choose? is observership better or is working in a private clinic better? im getting confused.
i personally have 2 view points. one is that working in a private clinic would involve patient interaction and i will be getting a better letter from the specialist. the other is that observership will be in a known hospital but there is no patient interaction in that and thus the letter which i'll probably get will not be that impressive.

plz guide me what do u think is better for me to do???? thanks.

I think I already answered this question, but anyway...

In my opinion private practice is much better because you will get an excellent LOR. Observership LORs are usually so-so.
