FCVS - do we need it?

Postby Dr_shef » Thu Feb 21, 2008 12:46 pm

Hi Anatolyk,

In continuation with the last question I've asked - do I need to register with FCVS to sit in step 3 or is it needed just for license sppliction and not for step 3?
Do I need anything other than CID form? or will I need to verify all my credentials from the beginning with FCVS?
If Conneticut does not require an application for license on record to take step 3, does it mean I don't need to send them any application?

Thank's again for your priceless advice!

FCVS is not required for Step 3. You may consider using them anyway as having your documents (mainly medical school diploma) verified by the FCVS, speeds up license application.

Connecticut has no postgraduate training requirement and license application, so you do not need anything but the form sent to you (actually provided online) by the fsmb.
